Abstract

We also use creativity in our software development life.

There are 3 types of creativity:

• combinatory
  • combine 2 things to get the 3rd
• exploratory
  • think inside the box, know the limit and constraints
  • ex: Eternal Ascent challenge
• transformatory
  • think a bit outside of the box

Our flow looks quite similar to the creativity flow:

• creative processus
  • question > recherche > hypothès > design (procédure) > expérience
• processus development
  • problème > recherche > prérequis > design (RFC / ADR) > implémentation

To boost your creativity:

• go out, see the nature
• make your thoughts wander
• looks elsewhere than your everyday subjects
• take your time with your family and friends
