cardiac coherence

This is not a simple breathing exercise, but a medically proven method to counteract sympathetic nervous system impulses. The method can be summarized as “365”: 3 times a day, 6 breaths per minute, for 5 minutes.

How to practice?

  • Practice sitting or standing, but not lying down.
  • During these 5 minutes, breathe in for 5 seconds through the nose and breathe out for 5 seconds through the mouth, without pausing.

When? In the morning, before getting up (prefer a sitting position), at noon before lunch, at the end of the day before dinner.
